The Golden Bears finished the season a Perfect 8-0!!
The Hatters came out looking to play spoiler, but the Golden Bears were not going to let this one slip through their fingertips, no way. They'd worked too hard all year and were bound and determined to accomplish the goals they had set for themselves at the beginning of the season. Keith Valley though, jumped out to an early 24-15 lead until Ben Swartz's inspiring come from behind pin brought the Bears to within 3 points but more importantly, fired up the entire Upper Moreland bench so much so, that the Golden Bears went on to win 8 of the final 10 bouts and won the meet 64-33 to Claim their second straight Suburban One League, American Conference Championship Title! Upper Moreland also finished the dual meet season undefeated with a perfect record of 8-0! The Golden Bears will now compete in the Spartan Invitational on Saturday February 6th where they will be shooting for their 3rd straight Team Title.

When you set your ultimate goals high, you find that you reach several small goals along the way to get to the big one. And while all this is going on your confidence level goes up as you start to have successes. You find yourself working harder to reach that goal, your willing to go the extra mile, do whatever it takes to get there. And when you're part of a team, this work ethic spreads like a virus. The next thing you know everyone on the team is doing it and your having fun all the while. This is what success is all about guys! It not only works in sports like it has for you all this season but in the classroom and in life as well. So remember what you've learned this year, take it with you and pass it on to others. Good luck to all of you!!!!.......COMPLETE TOURNAMENT RESULTS
